Donate and Win for Harvesters and St Patrick’s Day

Each year, my office has a float in both the Brookside and Kansas City St. Patrick’s Day parades. We have so much fun doing it, but part of the fun is knowing we are helping others by participating in the Harvesters Food Drive. Once again this year, we’re raising money for Harvesters by selling tickets for a chance to win a children’s playhouse.

This Landmark Civil War Era Home in Kansas City is My Pick of the Week

The Seth Ward Residence, as it is known, was originally built in the 1850’s and is on the historic registry. The home is currently for sale, and today I had the opportunity to view it in person. I have always noticed this home and its Antebellum, Southern Plantation style of architecture so it was especially fun to be able to see inside.
