When I'm not spending time with clients, I enjoy writing my blog, where I post about topics ranging from real estate trends to retro pink kitchens.

"My goal is to make the process as seamless and stress-free as possible, and perhaps maybe even a bit fun."

I began my real estate career in 2006, and I knew it was the perfect fit from the start. While I now primarily work in the classic neighborhoods and enclaves that fall along the state line, I am also familiar with most parts of the metro area and I am fully licensed in both Kansas and Missouri. Raised in Kentucky and a graduate of the University of Kansas, I now reside in the quaint Brookside neighborhood of Kansas City, MO, with my husband, Clayton, our toddler son, a crazy boxer dog, and sometimes a flock of egg-laying chickens.

Kansas City's rich history and beauty bring a constant source of joy and inspiration to my job. I love educating my clients about the different neighborhoods, architectural styles, hidden gems, and history of this city. My blog has been a great place for me to write about Kansas City and it has connected me with many great people. I love vintage and retro homes, and this city's housing is such a fun playground for me.

As an agent, I offer a varied skill set to my clients. In addition to providing my clients with insights into local neighborhoods and architecture, I strive to stay informed about local news, developments, and regulations. In this ever-changing industry, it is very important to stay informed. My clients often compliment me on my professionalism, and tell me that they hired me because they knew I would understand their taste, preferences, and be able to relate on a level that other agents can't. In negotiations, I feel it is important to be calm, reasonable, and fair while still standing up for my clients' best interests. Staging and design is very important to me and I enjoy helping clients visualize how to renovate fixer-uppers and share design ideas.

Overall, I think what has made me a successful agent is paying attention to details, and my commitment to exceptional customer service. I treat all of my clients the same, regardless of the price tag, and I strive to provide the kind of representation that I would want for my own family.
