Old School Lighting Perfect for our Brookside & Historic Homes

Schoolhouse Electric is not only making exceptional lighting in Portland, they are making a statement with their commitment to environmentally responsible, American-made production practices. When browsing their site, be sure to peruse the section on production which details how their products are made, the story of the school house lighting design style, how they found the abandoned original molds in an old warehouse, and many interesting photos. And since they are so affordable, I will definitely be switching out a few lights in my house as my decorating budget allows. I think the white ceiling mount shade with hand-painting turquoise detailing would be a smash hit in my pink retro kitchen. Check out a few of their styles below. Can’t you just see these in a Hyde Park or Brookside house?
