I love Grinders Pizza in the Crossroads

Nighlife KC shutterfly Party Pic at Grinders

"NighlifeKC.com" took my pic at Grinders Pizza

Last Friday night Mr. Snodgrass and I ventured down to Grinders for beer and pizza with friends. It was First Friday in the Crossroads and a warm night so the place was packed out, but in a good, fun way with a great atmosphere. By the way, Grinders (and Grinders West) has a new website. Isn’t it awesome? It was made by Snodgrass Creative, hmmm.

Back to the food. Grinders pizza is quickly becoming my favorite pizza in town. I love the crust – it’s thin like New York style, but my favorite thing is that they kinda spice up their sauce a bit. It’s not too much, but it is definitely detectable and I love it. (tip – meatballs are a great topping here) Another bright spot is the smorgasbord of delicious beers – beer nerds (like the one I live with) feel right at home here. Grinders West (next door to Grinders) is an awesome restaurant where you can also buy delicious deli meat to take home and make your own sandwiches. Mr. Snodgrass had a BLT there today, and said it was the best BLT he has EVER HAD! These are strong words from him, so I am now dying to try this angelic sandwich.
