Donate and Win for Harvesters and St Patrick’s Day

Each year, my office has a float in both the Brookside and Kansas City St. Patrick’s Day parades. We have so much fun doing it, but part of the fun is knowing we are helping others by participating in the Harvesters Go for the Green Food Drive. For the past 30 years, the Kansas City St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee has sponsored this drive in conjunction with Harvesters. The companies that participate in the fund drive make it competitive, and for the past couple years, my office has donated the most meals/funds. We are stoked about it, and hope the trend continues in 2015. It is wonderful to know that a donation of just $1 provides three meals for the hungry in our community.

Here’s how it works: Just make a donation in any amount with the Better Homes and Gardens team, and each dollar you donate will give you one chance to win. The winner will be selected at random after the holiday. Good luck, and happy St. Patrick’s Day.
