This Mid-Century Modern Home Near the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art is My Pick of the Week

My pick this week is a 3 bedroom home across from the Nelson at 4315 Rockhill Road (VIEW LISTING AND PHOTOS). I have always loved the way this group of seven mid-century modern homes are nestled into the natural terrain across from the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City. I decided to feature this home because of its interesting architecture, low maintenance living, and the benefits of living across from the Nelson. As a bonus, this home is also near public transit, parks, shopping at the Plaza, and downtown. The interior is a blank slate; it is in excellent condition and it has some great spaces with walls of windows which integrate the outdoors. I hope that some interesting buyer with a mid-mod obsession will come along and jazz it up. It could either go very retro Mad Men, or clean, crisp and contemporary. Check it out!
