Downtown Grocery Store Open!

I visited our new Cosentino’s Downtown Market on Tuesday – opening day. I log serious time in grocery stores, so I can appreciate a good one and this is a good one! First, it has pleasant lighting and is aestetically appealing with a smart layout. Second, the deli and prepared food section is seriously huge and seriously awesome. I speculate that it will ruin some downtown restaurant’s lunch business, but oh well – survival of the fittest! The third reason why this is a good store is in the details – helpful staff, good dining area, good location, and the parking was easy. I’m sure there are plenty of people out there that still harbor an irrational fear of parking garages, but this was all a cinch and they validated our parking so it was free. I am sure all of our downtown residents are very pleased with this new store, and I personally hope that it sparks up the downtown condo market this year. Can’t hurt!
