At Home in Brookside Travels to the Blue Ridge Mountains

These images should explain my recent blog absence; I took a vacation! Over the Fourth of July holiday, Mister Snodgrass and I visited the Blue Ridge Mountains in western North Carolina. We overnighted in Asheville, which is a hot spot for artists, musicians, incredible local food, and has more breweries per capita than anywhere else in the country. It was the perfect combination of outdoor daytime fun and evening culture. We will definitely return again someday. Can’t you almost feel the cool mountain air in these photos?
