A Westwood Hills Tudor Renovation with Guehne-Made and Featured on KCH&G Blog

Some of my very favorite people and clients find me right here on this blog. I recently helped a young family buy a home in Westwood Hills, Kansas, who were relocating here from Columbia. They found me through my website and blog, and thought I would “get” their style and sensibilities. I just adored working with them, and I think we struck gold on their home. I actually scoped out the house during the estate sale. I knew it was the one instantly, and I practically stalked the house and drove the estate sale company crazy. I knew we needed to work quickly to buy it before it hit the market. You might be surprised to learn that even though it wasn’t actively marketed, we were still one of three offers! Just a couple days ago, it was featured on the Kansas City Homes and Gardens Blog, featuring before photos and a description of the project.

The two-story brick and stucco Tudor is currently undergoing a major renovation, and they picked the cutest contractors in town – Wendy and Nick Guehne with Guehne-Made. Check out their blog which Wendy updates regularly and I think it is a good source of design inspiration. Wendy is also a guest blogger on the Kansas City Homes and Gardens Blog.
