New to Brookside – Phil's Coffee Shoppe and Grill

I love this writeup by Kansas City Lunch Spots on the new incarnation of that rad retro building on 63rd that was most recently Max’s Autodiner. I will probably try it though I am in no hurry, and, after hearing about the condiment bar, I will probably bring my own ketchup packet (BYOK)!

Also, Kansas City Lunch Spots may be interested to hear that for a short while in between Phils and Max’s, someone hung out a spray-painted sheet that said “hotdogs coming soon”. I guess that was a failed notion – probably a wise move.
