At Home in Fairway, Kansas – A Look at Real Estate and Community in Fairway

I have been a busy beaver this year and many of my clients have been buying or selling on the Kansas side of the state line. Currently, I am spending a considerable amount of time in Fairway, Kansas, so I thought I would look up the average sales prices to get a feel for trends and activity. As you can see in the chart above, the average sales price tends to hover around the $300,000 mark, and sales are up substantially over last year.

Fairway is a small, established residential community in northeast Johnson County which is very highly regarded for its:
*Charming homes
*Quaint neighborhoods
*Excellent city services
*Close proximity to downtown and the Plaza

Most of the homes were built between the late 1930′s and the 1950′s, and you will see a variety of styles and materials such as ranch, tudor, 1.5 story, cape cods, many featuring wood siding and limestone or brick accents.
