Heirloom Bakery & Hearth Grand Opening In Brookside
After much anticipation, Heirloom Bakery and Hearth is open for business. The grand opening is this Mother’s Day weekend, Saturday, May 9 from 7am-4pm, and Sunday, May 10 from 8am-3pm. Heirloom is located at the southeast corner of Oak and 63rd Street in Brookside. My pals over at Utilitarian Workshop were the creative design/build firm, and I am just overcome at how beautiful it turned out. The interior is truly stunning; you’ll just have to stop in, grab a muffin, and see it first hand. Do you know how a place just feels good? Well Heirloom feels rich and stylish, yet achieves a calming comfort. My favorite features are the wallpaper in the dining room, and the travertine bar – what are yours?
The owners, a lovely young couple named Scott and Kate, have worked diligently over the last couple of years to bring this lovely local business to life. I admire how they have made it a priority to become a part of the Brookside neighborhood and community. It seems like everyone already knows and loves this place, and it isn’t even open! I think Heirloom will be wildly successful, and I’m so happy to have it in my neighborhood.
I’ve been excited for Heirloom to open since you wrote about them last year! This looks to be worthy of loading Norah up for a little field trip.
