In preparation for my neighborhood block party this weekend, a couple neighbors and I took a trip to Bichelmeyer’s in Kansas City, Kansas today to buy pork butts. This place is so cool - fresh meat, homemade bologna, sausages…  The Bichelmeyer meat market opened in 1946, and is still going strong. It is a favorite of local meat connoisseurs and a great place to pick up BBQ supplies, especially for competition BBQ teams.
