Heirloom Bakery & Hearth Grand Opening In Brookside

After much anticipation, Heirloom Bakery and Hearth is open for business. The grand opening is this Mother’s Day weekend, Saturday, May 9 from 7am-4pm, and Sunday, May 10 from 8am-3pm. Heirloom is located at the southeast corner of Oak and 63rd Street in Brookside. Heirloom Bakery and HearthMy pals over at Utilitarian Workshop were the creative design/build firm, and I am just overcome at how beautiful it turned out. The interior is truly stunning; you’ll just have to stop in, grab a muffin, and see it first hand. Do you know how a place just feels good? Well Heirloom feels rich and stylish, yet achieves a calming comfort. My favorite features are the wallpaper in the dining room, and the travertine bar – what are yours? IMG_9845

The owners, a lovely young couple named Scott and Kate, have worked diligently over the last couple of years to bring this lovely local business to life. I admire how they have made it a priority to become a part of the Brookside neighborhood and community. It seems like everyone already knows and loves this place, and it isn’t even open! I think Heirloom will be wildly successful, and I’m so happy to have it in my neighborhood.
