Pick of the Week – Stone Landmark Home in Brookside

I am sure you will recognize this landmark house which sits at the corner of 63rd Street and Wornall in the heart of Brookside, adjacent to the shops.

It is a ca. 1921 three-story limestone home with a stone carriage house. Interestingly, the property was recently a bed and breakfast called The Stone House B&B, but it has since closed. I had the opportunity to view the inside of this home today, and it is really a special place. Naturally, my favorite thing about it is the extraordinary limestone exterior, but I also admire the high ceilings and the big side porch. The ceilings have to be about 11′ tall! Some people might prefer a different location, but I would welcome the energy and activity of nearby Brookside.

It is listed for sale with Sharon McNulty of Keller Williams at a list price of $499,900. VIEW LISTING.
