Pick of the Week – Landmark English Tudor in Brookside

Chances are if you have driven east of the Brookside shops on Meyer Boulevard, you have noticed this stunning English Tudor in all its glory. It is a large, two-story brick and stucco Tudor that faces Meyer, and much of the original specialty details are preserved. There is a built-in wall fountain on the porch, period lighting, archways, luscious woodwork, fun bathroom tile, a step-down sunken living room (I love these!), and all of the other details common to a home of this era such as hardwoods, a formal dining room, stucco, stone and brick. It must have had nice, conscientious owners over the years because it seems to be getting better with age. I think my very favorite feature is the mounted lantern above the arched front door. This house is currently for sale for $384,900 – view Listing.

This house is listed with Jan Aylward, Prudential Kansas City Realty.
