From the Backyard Garden to the Table – Homemade Pickles

There is nothing like a fresh, homemade dill pickle. My pickling cucumber crop came in last week, so I made sure to jar them immediately. I make refrigerator pickles using this recipe, and I can’t imagine finding a better recipe anywhere. If you want to try your hand at making homemade pickles, be sure to only use special pickling cucumbers which are much smaller and crunchier than regular cucumber varieties.
