Friday Links – Kansas City Love, Colorful Decorating, and a New Appliance Color

This edition of Friday Links is heavy on design and decorating. We discovered a new appliance color, a world-famous blog features a local KC home, a fun design blog with local roots, and a home filled to the brim with color and pattern.

Black Stainless Steel Appliances

Have you ever heard of black stainless steel? Me either. It’s new and it is big news in the kitchen industry right now. I think most major brands carry it, but I think the inspiration gallery on the LG Appliance website is my favorite representation.

Hallmark’s Design Blog

A current Hallmark employee and client turned me on to the blog, Think. Make. Share. A blog from the creative studios at Hallmark, and it is really fun to explore. I fell into the wormhole for a good hour. I especially love to browse the home tours of local Hallmark employee artists’ homes.

A Colorful Makeover in House Beautiful

One of my favorite magazines, House Beautiful, shared photos of a wildly colorful Texas home on their website. It is color and pattern on steroids, and I love it. We shared it on the Sarah Snodgrass Team Facebook page this week, but I’m sharing it again here because I don’t want anyone to miss out on all the COLOR!

A Kansas City Home Featured on Design Sponge

A local mid-century Kansas City home was featured on Design Sponge a couple of weeks ago. It always makes me happy and proud to see Kansas City featured on one of the most famous design blogs in the world. I did some sneaking, and found out this home is located in the Red Bridge area of south Kansas City. Very cool!
